The delegation of ambassadors accredited to Rabat, which started Friday a three-day visit in the southern provinces of Morocco, was "very impressed" by the great potentiality and progress achieved in the region of Oued Eddahab-Lagouira.

The Central Monitoring Committee for the study of the master plan for urban development (SDAU) of the -Oued Eddahab Bay held Wednesday at Dakhla, a meeting devoted to the presentation and consideration of proposals for urban development at the peninsula.

A total of 202 km of roads in the region of Oued-Eddahab-Lagouira were surfaced since early 2008 as part of a maintenance and rehabilitation actions of some sections of the regional road network stretching over 3369 Km

The 15th summit of the Non Aligned Movement (NAM), which ended its mmeting on Thursday in Egypt, confirmed NAM’s positive trend regarding the Sahara issue. Such a progress was initiated by the previous meeting, held in Cuba.
