Nearly one hundred Sahrawis have returned, during the last twenty four hours, to the Motherland from the Tindouf camps in Algeria, three groups consisting of several persons that took part in Gjijimat congress, held last December in Tifariti region, in the Moroccan Sahara.

UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon said participants in the third round of Manhasset negotiations on the Sahara (January 7-9) concurred on the need for "a more intensive and substantive phase of negotiations."

The 7th edition of Moubadara exhibition, dedicated to investment and entrepreneurship, will be held from March 25 to 28 in Laayoune, with the participation of several Moroccan and foreign exhibitors. 

Morocco proved good will during the recent negotiations on the Sahara dispute with Algerian-backed separatist movement "Polisario" in Manhasset (outskirts of New York), unlike the "negative, fixed, and sterile attitude of the other party," minister of Communication and Government spokesperson, Khalid Naciri, said on Thursday.

An ambitious project amounting to more than twenty three thousand housing units, with a cost of 1.2 billion MAD, is underway in the city of Laayoune over an area of 783 ha.
