His Majesty’s proposal to grant autonomy to Sahara, decisive for my return to Motherland, Souilem

The most important element that was decisive in my return to my homeland, since Algeria created the Sahara artificial dispute, was the generous proposal put forward by HM King Mohammed VI to grant broad autonomy to Morocco's southern provinces", a founding member of the separatist movement of Polisario, said on Wednesday in New York.

4th Commission: Several organizations and individuals call for the end of the ordeal of the hostages

The situation of populations retained in the Polisario camps in Tindouf has brought about many interventions during the debates in the 4th commission of the UN General Assembly. These interventions varied between those which demand the opening of inquiry on the plight of human rights and Polisario's actions in this regard, those which demand the liberation of the people, and those that require the application of UNHCR's statutory obligations for the benefit of the sequestered in Tindouf.

Corcas chairman talks with Tanzanian Minister of Foreign Affairs

Tanzanian Foreign Minister declared that understanding the Sahara issue depends on knowledge of the history of colonization in Morocco

Mr. Khalihenna Ould Rachid, chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (CORCAS) received on Monday at the Council headquarters in Rabat, Mr. Bernard Kamillius Membe, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Tanzania, who is currently visiting Morocco, carrying a letter by Tanzanian President to HM. King Mohammed VI.
