Moroccan People Celebrate 21st Anniversary of Accession of HM King Mohammed VI to the Throne
7/29/2020

The Moroccan people celebrate on Thursday July 30 the 21st anniversary of the accession of HM King Mohammed VI to the Throne of His glorious ancestors, a moment of commemoration of a common history which reflects the perfect symbiosis between the Throne and people in their march towards the future.

The Throne Day is the strong symbolic moment of the renewal of alliance between the King and the Moroccan people by strengthening bonds of allegiance and cohesion.
It is both an opportunity to assess what has been achieved during the previous period and strengthening action to continue the construction of modern Morocco while protecting its supreme interests, territorial unity and sovereignty over the country.
The action taken during the past year, despite the situation created by the covid 19 pandemic, has been a great success in favor of our national cause.
This shows once again that the rigidity of the opponents of our territorial integrity is the only obstacle to resolving the issue of the Moroccan Sahara.
It shows that Morocco, with its autonomy initiative, offers the fair and mutually acceptable solution since Sahrawis, through their representatives to the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (CORCAS) created by His Majesty the King March 25, 2006, developed by themselves.
Tthis initiative was presented by Morocco to the United Nations in April 2007 and was hailed by the community of Nations as being serious and credible.
