On this occasion, the governor of the province of Boujdour, Mohamed Ennajem Abhay, who was accompanied by a delegation including the delegate of the French Red Cross in North Africa, Mr. Laurent La Foret, inaugurated the administrative and social complex of the Moroccan Red Crescent, whose implementation will require a total cost of MAD 338,000.
This project is funded through the partnership between the Association of the Provincial Office of the Moroccan Red Crescent in Boujdour and the National Initiative for Human Development (NIHD).
The complex has been reinforced by first aid medical equipment granted by the French Red Cross in partnership with the Moroccan Red Crescent. It will also set up a team specializing in primary care in the province.
In addition, the governor, accompanied by members of the Royal Advosiry Council for Saharan Affairs (CORCAS), presidents of elected councils, heads of external services, representatives of the local authority and the tribal sheikhs and representatives of civil society kicked off works in "Khemisset" boulevard in the Al Wahda district at a cost of MAD 635,136 and construction of urban roads in the district of Allal Ben Abdellah at a budget of MAD 994,164.
Achieving these two projects is part of the fight against social exclusion in urban areas within NIHD.
