Administrative Zoning Minimize

The first qualitative change observed after the recovery of the Sahara region by the motherland is that the Administration and local authorities were established and organized as soon as possible to enable the Saharawi people enjoy the same rights as their brothers in the north of the Kingdom.

All the country's administrative institutions exist in the Sahara region. All government departments and public institutions have regional or provincial delegations in the region. Proximity policy to citizens was also respected to allow to a large number of people enjoy their rights and participate in the civic obligations of the nation.

The following table shows the number of circles and municipalities by region, prefecture and province in the Sahara region:
