CORCAS Chairman Receives Chilean Speaker of Chamber of Deputies

The head of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (Corcas), Khalihenna Ould Errachid, met on Tuesday February 18, 2020 with Ivan Flores Garcia, Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of Chile, who is currently on a visit to Morocco at the head of a large delegation.

The interview was devoted to the development of the Sahara and the revitalization sparked by the Moroccan initiative granting a large autonomy to the region.

Mr. Ould Errachid said in this regard that it is Sahrawis who conceived, through Corcas autonomy, which has been welcomed by all Security Council Resolutions since 2007, as a serious, realistic and credible solution.

Dr. Maouelainin Ben Khallihenna Maouelainin, Secretary General and member Moulay Ahmed Mghizlat took part in the event.
