"Our position on the question of the Moroccan Sahara is clear, namely the preservation of the territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Morocco and the achievement of a political solution within the framework of the international system of reference and UN Security Council resolutions relating to this matter," said Al-Safdi during a joint press briefing with Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita, after their meeting.

The visit of Bourita is part of the tradition of communication and consultation that marks relations between the two brotherly countries, under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI and His brother HM King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein.

This visit is also an opportunity to monitor the implementation of the content of the Joint Statement issued on the occasion of the working and friendship visit that the Jordanian Sovereign paid to the Kingdom of Morocco on March 27-28, 2019.
