Corcas was founded in the perspective of a new and bold strategy to manage the Sahara issue and " has contributed alongside the public authorities and institutions to defend the Moroccan Sahara and be a voice of "Saharawi" citizens.
This was possible through the solution announced by HM the King on the 30th anniversary of the Green March, consisting in the granting of autonomy to the region, which will be the final solution to the artificial conflict over the region.
The defense of Moroccan Sahara is indeed the largest contribution of the Council. As soon as they were appointed by the Sovereign, President Khalihenna Ould Errachid, Secretary General Maouelainin Ben Khalihanna Maoulainin and the 141 members who represent all the tribes and categories of the Saharawi society, began their action for the design of autonomy within the sovereignty of the Kingdom and its national and territorial integrity.
