Extensive Disinfection Operation of Schools and Examination Centers in Dakhla

The commune of Dakhla has begun a vast operation to disinfect and sterilize schools and local examination centers, in order to limit the risk of the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).


This vast operation carried out by the communal hygiene office of Dakhla aims to ensure optimal sanitary conditions for students, exam candidates, trainers and educational staff, as well as all employees of educational establishments. 


In this context, the municipal services mobilized the necessary human and logistical resources, in constant coordination with the local authorities, to disinfect various schools and outbuildings, examination center of the Specialized Institute of Technology and the two centers  (the indoor sports hall and the National School of Business and Management (ENCG) of Dakhla).


Since the start of the pandemic, the commune of Dakhla has carried out campaigns to raise awareness among the local population about the seriousness of this virus and the importance of respecting barrier gestures, given that the fight against this virus requires combining the efforts of all stakeholders to ensure the success of this operation for the benefit of citizens.


The Regional Academy of Education and Training (AREF) of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab announced the return since Thursday to face-to-face education chosen by families for the learning of their children, and this in the all public and private schools coming under the provincial directorates of National Education of Oued Eddahab and Aousserd.


Likewise, students from Dakhla, who are continuing their studies at Cadi Ayyad universities in Marrakech and Ibn Zohr in Agadir, take their postponed exams from the normal spring session of the Basic License in two nearby centers academic year 2019-2020, as part of preventive measures against the spread of the new Coronavirus
