9/20/2018
Sierra Leone's minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Alie Kabba hailed, Wednesday in Rabat, "the seriousness and credibility" of the Moroccan autonomy initiative as a basis for settling the Sahara dispute.
In a joint communiqué issued at the end of his talks with minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Nasser Bourita, Kabba commended Morocco's efforts to reach a negotiated political solution to the regional dispute on the Sahara issue.
The Sierra Leonean minister also expressed his country's strong support for the role of the United Nations as the exclusive framework for the process leading to a final settlement of this issue, the statement said.
