The Wali of the region of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab, governor of the province of Oued Eddahab, Lamine Benomar, proceeded, in the presence of elected officials, representatives of the external services and of civil and military personalities, to the inauguration of the Urban development project on Al Wahda main boulevard.
Developed over a distance of 2 km for a budget of more than 21.8 million MAD, this project of the company Al Omrane Al Janoub is part of the housing program in the province of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab.
It also includes the rehabilitation of paved sidewalks, planting trees and urban furniture (more than 17.6 MDH), as well as installation of public lighting (4,27 MDH).
In addition, Benomar launched the construction of urban roads in under-equipped areas of Dakhla City for 19.5 million.
The project under the provincial council of Oued Eddahab is part of the partnership agreement for the upgrade of Dakhla (2016-2019), in partnership with the Directorate General of Local Government (DGCL) uder the Ministry of the Interior, Ministry of Housing and Urban Policy, Wilaya of the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab Region and Dakhla Territorial Commune.
