Guatemala hailed “the historic decision” announced by the State of Israel in favor of Morocco’s sovereignty over its Sahara, reiterating its support for the efforts made for a “just and lasting” solution to the dispute in the Sahara.

Israel's decision to recognize Morocco's sovereignty over the Sahara reinforces the legitimacy of the Moroccan position and supports the Kingdom's efforts to bring a final solution to end to this artificial conflict, stressed El Salvador's Vice President, Félix Ulloa.

Member of the British House of Lords, Stuart Polak, welcomed, on Tuesday, the Israeli government's decision to recognize Morocco's sovereignty over the Sahara, deeming it "the right thing to do".

The recognition by the State of Israel of Morocco's Sovereignty over its Sahara is a "historic and just decision", stressed the leaders (chioukhs) of the Sahrawi tribes in the Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra region.

The president of the Les Républicains party, Eric Ciotti, welcomed on Monday Israel’s recognition of the Moroccanity of the Sahara, calling on France to contribute to the settlement of this “strategic question”.
