Some forty countries reaffirmed on Monday their support for Morocco's full sovereignty over its Sahara during the 58th session of the Human Rights Council (HRC), held until April 4 at the Palais des Nations in Geneva.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Murat Nurtleu, expressed, on Friday in Rabat, his country's support for the Kingdom's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and for the Autonomy Plan presented by Morocco in 2007.

The Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), a historic political party in Mexico, has expressed its "solidarity with the legitimate struggle" of Morocco to defend its sovereignty over its Sahara.

The Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (Corcas) is taking part, as part of the official delegation of the Kingdom of Morocco, in the 58th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (HRC), which is being held from February 24 to April 4 in Geneva.

Cabo Verde’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Regional Integration, José Filomeno de Carvalho Dias Monteiro, reiterated, on Tuesday in Rabat, his country's steadfast position in support of Morocco's territorial integrity and sovereignty over its entire territory, including the Sahara region.
