Morocco is an "essential" and a long-standing partner to the United States, underlined U.S. Congressman Joe Wilson during a congressional hearing held Wednesday, while recalling his country’s historic decision to recognize the Kingdom’s sovereignty over its Sahara.

The Federation of Arab Journalists reiterated, on Tuesday, its support to Morocco’s territorial integrity and to the “autonomy plan within the framework of Morocco’s sovereignty over its entire territory.”

The municipalities of Lagouira in Morocco and Bignona in Senegal agreed to strengthen their institutional and technical capacities under a memorandum of understanding signed on Wednesday in Dakar between the two local authorities.
