The Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), a historic political party in Mexico, has expressed its "solidarity with the legitimate struggle" of Morocco to defend its sovereignty over its Sahara.

The Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (Corcas) is taking part, as part of the official delegation of the Kingdom of Morocco, in the 58th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (HRC), which is being held from February 24 to April 4 in Geneva.

Cabo Verde’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Regional Integration, José Filomeno de Carvalho Dias Monteiro, reiterated, on Tuesday in Rabat, his country's steadfast position in support of Morocco's territorial integrity and sovereignty over its entire territory, including the Sahara region.

The President of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, Khalihenna Ould Errachid, met this Monday, February 24, 2025, with the speaker of the French Senate who is on a working visit to Morocco at the head of a large senatorial delegation from February 23 to 26.

The Forum of the Presidents of the Parliaments of Central America, Caribbean and Mexico (FOPREL) renewed its commitment to supporting all efforts seeking to reach a peaceful and definitive solution to the Sahara issue, in accordance with the UN Security Council resolutions and in respect of the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of Morocco.
