The President of the Autonomous Government of Andalusia, José Antonio Grignan described Monday "interesting" the Moroccan project of autonomy for the southern provinces.

A delegation from the Austro-Moroccan Institute (OMI) completed a tour in the Sahara region last Saturday and Sunday. This tour which aims to assess the overall situation in the southern provinces, began in Laayoune then Dakhla where the delegation met with several association officials of human rights.

Several Heads of State and delegations participating in the 64 session of the General Assembly of the United Nations renewed support for the territorial integrity of Morocco and its position over the Sahara.

Canary Islands-based "Islas Airways" will start operating on Wednesday flights between Las Palmas and the Moroccan city of Laayoune, the company announced Tuesday. 

The delegation of the southern provinces attending the 12th session of the Council of the UN Human Rights (CHR), called on Thursday the international community to exert pressure on the Algerian government to allow international organizations conduct a census of the populations of the Tindouf camps.
