Chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, Khalihenna Ould Errachid, received Wednesday, September 15, 2010, a delegation from the French Senate, composed of members of France-Morocco friendship group.

Christian Cambon, president of the group of friendship between France's Senate and Morocco's House of Councillors (upper house), said on Monday that Paris supports the kingdom's efforts to reach a political solution to the Sahara issue.

Spain is calling for a "just, final and lasting" solution for the Sahara conflict, Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos said on Friday in Madrid.
