Corruption in Tindouf camps is growing threat to US national security (expert)
Algeria fears autonomy in the Sahara

Michael Rubin, an expert at the (Naval Postgraduate School's Center for Civil-Military Relations) said in an analysis published on (CNN) webpage that Algeria opposes autonomy plan in the Sahara for fear that this solution would be unprecedented at level of its internal policy, pointing out that Algeria sees Polisario as tool to serve its hegemony ambitions in the region .

US "clearly" reiterates Moroccan autonomy plan for Sahara "realistic and credible"
The United States of America "clearly" said Friday that the Moroccan autonomy plan for the Sahara is "serious, realistic and credible , and represents a potential approach that could satisfy the aspirations of the people of the Sahara to manage their own affairs in peace and dignity," said the joint statement by the United States of America and the Kingdom of Morocco , following the Summit meeting between His Majesty King Mohammed VI and President Barack Obama at the White House.

Haiti withdraws recognition of so-called SADR
In an official statement, the Haitian government announced the withdrawal of the recognition of the so-called SADR. The statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Haiti shows that the decision was taken to support the search for a negotiated political solution.
