Australian paper advocates strong ties with Morocco

The Australian newspaper “The Australian” reckons that Morocco is the most important country in North Africa, with which Australia should improve its political and economic ties. The article adds that Morocco is facing a separatist movement which is supported by Algeria and is equally involved with the well known terrorist movement Al- Qaeda. Knowing that Morocco is one of the main countries directly involved with the western world in terms of fighting against terrorism.

Success of negotiations remains weak without the other parties' availability, Fassi Fihri

 Morocco's Foreign Minister Taïb Fassi Fihri said on Thursday that the success of negotiations on the Sahara remains weak, or even nonexistent in the absence of the other parties' availability to reach a compromise political solution to the Sahara issue.

Manhasset: Morocco made concrete proposals to speed up negotiations, FM says

 Morocco submitted during the fourth round of informal talks on the Sahara, which ended on Saturday in Manhasset, "a number of concrete initiatives and proposals to give a chance" to the negotiation process and spur it according to "innovative approaches," Moroccan Foreign Minister Taib Fassi Fihri said.
