The Moroccan people celebrated this Sunday the Independence Day of the Kingdom, which commemorates the historic speech of November 18, 1955 of the father of the Nation, late His Majesty Mohammed V announcing the end of the protectorate and liberation of the Motherland, and will forever be a highlight of our country's history.

The improvement of relations between Algeria and Morocco will help the two countries tackle common bilateral and regional issues such as terrorism, illegal immigration, drug trafficking and economic integration, the US department of state said on Thursday.
