President of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi, has expressed solidarity with the Kingdom of Morocco with regard to its international commitments in the area of El Guerguarat.

"His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, received on Thursday a phone call from His brother, HM Hamad Ben Issa Al Khalifa, King of the brotherly Kingdom of Bahrain.

Permanent Representative of Morocco to the UN, Ambassador Omar Hilale, informed the members of the Security Council of the latest developments in the region of El Guerguarat in the Moroccan Sahara, in particular the commendable and successful intervention carried out by the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) at this border crossing.

Austria has praised Morocco's commitment to the ceasefire agreement signed in 1991.

The Standing Committee of Foreign Policy, Sovereignty and Integration at the National Assembly of Venezuela has expressed its support for Morocco's intervention in El Guerguerat, allowing to restore movement and trade flow, which were blocked for three weeks by the Polisario militias.
