Members of the European Parliament (EP) have triggered the official referral mechanism of the EP regarding the diversion of humanitarian aid intended for the populations held against their will in Tindouf.

The presidents of the Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra and Dakhla-Oued Eddahab regions, Sidi Hamdi Oued Errachid and Yenja El Khattat, denounced the propaganda by Algeria and the "Polisario" to try to deprive the populations of the two regions of the benefits of development, stressing that Algeria must be questioned about its policy of diversion and disinformation aiming to divert attention from the tragedy of the people in captivity in Tindouf.

US Congressman Paul Gosar has called on the Trump administration to denounce the Polisario that “adopts a Marxist ideology" and take a strong stance to end the artificial dispute over the Moroccan Sahara.

Polisario and Algerian lies were exposed in Santiago de Chile by former supporter on untruths conveyed in order to hide “human rights violations, theft of humanitarian aid and abduction and imprisonment of persons ”.

The Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra region has 8,050 candidates for the normal session of the unified national baccalaureate examination for the 2019/2020 school year.
