The Kingdom of Morocco highly appreciates Spain's positive positions and constructive commitments on the issue of the Moroccan Sahara, contained in the message addressed to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, May God assist Him, by the President of the Spanish Government, H.E. Mr. Pedro Sánchez, said Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad.

Spain considers the autonomy initiative presented by Morocco as the basis, the most serious, realistic and credible, for the resolution of the dispute" about the Moroccan Sahara.

The Philippines expressed, on Thursday, their strong support for Morocco's sovereignty and territorial integrity, while deeming the autonomy plan as a "good basis" to settle the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara.

A Spanish delegation currently visiting the region of Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra, inquires about the dynamics of development in the region in various socio-economic and cultural areas.

The President of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates (Parliament), Saqr Ghobash, said, Tuesday, that the support of his country to the Moroccanness of the Sahara stems from its full conviction of the right of the Kingdom to preserve its territorial integrity.
