The Permanent Representative of Morocco to the UN, the Ambassador Omar Hilale, has unveiled, in letters sent to the Security Council and the UN Chief, the truth about the so-called Sultana Khaya, a separatist that Algeria and the "polisario" exploit against Morocco.

Togo's Foreign Minister Robert Dussey reiterated, Tuesday in Rabat, his country's support for Morocco's territorial integrity and affirmed support for the Kingdom's Autonomy Plan "which is the only credible and realistic solution to the resolution of this dispute."

The autonomy plan presented by the Kingdom in 2007 is "the most credible and serious proposal for a lasting and final solution" to the artificial dispute over the Moroccan Sahara, French Senator Ludovic Haye said on Friday.

A parliamentary intergroup in support of the autonomy plan for the Moroccan Sahara has just been set up on the initiative of several MPs and senators belonging to different Italian political groups, announced on Monday MPs Marco Di Maio and Urania Papatheu in a press release.

The recognition of the so-called 'SADR' in 1984 by the Organization of African Unity, now the AU, was "a historic mistake", said Cape Verde's National Assembly MP Hélio Sanches.
